Where payments flow

About Corridex

We build the control layer that decides how money crosses a border — which rail it takes, which checks it clears, and how it gets proven.

Corridex is a cross-border payment orchestration platform. One API routes each payment over the best available rail, runs sanctions, PEP and Travel Rule screening inline, and reconciles the result — so payments settle in minutes instead of days, with an audit trail that stands up on its own.

The problem we solve#

A USD-to-INR payment today can touch four intermediaries, trigger duplicate sanctions checks, and take 48 hours to settle. Ops teams spend half their week chasing exceptions and reconciling statements. The cost per transaction stays high because every step is manual, siloed, or both.

One integration replaces the patchwork#

Corridex sits above the rails you already use rather than replacing them. That is the whole design: keep your banking relationships, and put a decision layer in front of them.

Smart routing

Picks the fastest, cheapest rail per corridor and retries on failure — no manual intervention.

Embedded compliance

Runs sanctions, PEP, and Travel Rule checks inline, cutting false positives by 85 %.

Automated reconciliation

Matches statements to payments and flags exceptions before the ops team even looks.

We publish the numbers#

Payment infrastructure is bought on evidence, not adjectives. Settlement times and success rates are published per corridor and per rail, so you can check them against your own data before you talk to us.

Who builds it#

Cross-border payments are not a problem you solve by reading about them. The people building Corridex have spent twenty years inside the rails, the products, and the investigations that follow when money goes the wrong way.

Johana began in international payments and currency software at PayPal, then spent nearly five years at Google as a senior product manager, taking Google Payments products from concept through to launch across technical and business teams. By 2016 she had built enough payment infrastructure to want to understand the other side of it, and joined the Asian Development Bank — where she spent six years leading integrity investigations into ADB-financed operations and producing findings serious enough to carry sanctions.

That pairing is unusual, and it is the premise Corridex is built on. Most platforms treat compliance as a gate bolted on after the routing decision: pick a rail, then screen what goes down it. Corridex treats them as one decision, because a rail cannot be chosen well in ignorance of what screening will do to the payment once it is on it. The reason cross-border payments are slow is rarely the rail — it is everything that happens around it.

She co-founded Corridex in 2023 and leads the company.

Bismark has been building large-scale banking and security systems since 2005. He started as a software engineer and led an information architecture group before moving into solution architecture, then spent four years at PayPal as a programme manager. From there he went to Amazon Web Services, where he built and ran a delivery consulting practice — the people responsible for getting complicated cloud programmes over the line inside large, cautious organisations.

He joined Corridex in 2024 as Chief Product Officer. His remit is the genuinely hard part of orchestration: turning cross-border payment mechanics intricate enough to fill a compliance manual into a platform an operations team can actually run on a Tuesday morning.
